Today’s look is all about mixing different styles together and creating something beautiful. So, I’m mixing classic/vintage pieces such as this skirt, these kitten heels and those cat-eye sunglasses (which btw are a huge trend) with modern pieces, such as my printed sweater and this contemporary, statement necklace. Whoever said classic and modern couldn’t go together probably didn’t know a thing about styling. Sure, sticking with the things you know or a certain style is safe, but it really won’t get you anywhere. Mixing things though, that don’t seem to match in the beginning, can be ah-mazing! Exactly how this outfit turned out to be… Chic, but a bit edgy, almost like a modern fairytale. Το σημερινό look έχει να κάνει με την ανάμειξη διαφορετικών στυλ και τη δημιουργία κάτι όμορφου μέσα από αυτό. Έτσι λοιπόν, αναμειγνύω κλασσικά/vintage κομμάτια όπως αυτή τη φούστα, αυτά τα kitten heels και αυτά τα cat-eye γυαλιά ηλίου (τα οποία btw αποτελούν μεγάλο trend) με μοντέρνα κομμάτια όπως το printed sweater μου και αυτό το μοντέρνο μεταλλικό statement necklace. Όποιος είπε ότι το κλασσικό και το μοντέρνο δεν πάνε μαζί, μάλλον δεν είχε ιδέα από styling. Σίγουρα, το να παραμένεις σε αυτά που γνωρίζεις ή σε ένα συγκεκριμένο στυλ είναι ασφαλείς επιλογές, αλλά δεν προχωρούν το στυλ σου. Η ανάμειξη όμως πραγμάτων που με την πρώτη ματιά δεν ταιριάζουν μπορεί να είναι κάτι μαγικό! Ακριβώς όπως και αυτό το outfit… Chic, αλλά και κάπως edgy, σχεδόν σαν μοντέρνο παραμύθι.
